She and her husband, British jazz guitarist Martyn Popey, share a ranch in East Texas with a herd of Black Angus cattle, one very cranky donkey, and The Dude, a rescue kitty with attitude.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0057XNRB4\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Devil of Light<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Avengers-Blood-Elliot-Crime-Series-ebook\/dp\/B00BKNATA2\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Avengers of Blood<\/em><\/a> are the first two books in the Cass Elliot Crime Series.
