Book launch: The Three-Way

By Scott Bury

iAi founding member Scott Bury returns to the Sydney Rye Kindle World with a new thriller featuring his characters Van and LeBrun.

About the book

How is Daesh, the Islamic State, funding its war of oppression in the Middle East? Van and LeBrun are determined to find out.

Van Freeman, the socialist surfer dude secret agent, takes his electromagnetic gun and his hunter-killer drones on a harrowing trip through Daesh-occupied territory, blowing stuff up in his inimitable style, to unravel a three-way deal that feeds the 21st century's most evil regime.

First reviews

Even though it's been awhile since we've seen Van in action he hasn't changed a bit. Still the surfer blonde dude with long hair that does as he pleases, but he packs a strong punch. Never judge a guy by his looks because Van is not what you think.

The gripping suspense makes it hard to put down and I finished it in one sitting, staying up way too late!

This is Bury's third book featuring his characters Van Freeman and Earl LeBrun.

"I based the personalities of these two characters on people I know well, and that's part of what makes writing about them so much fun," he says.

Van Freeman is a six-foot, blond, blue-eyed surfer dude with a powerful revenge motive and a distinct disrespect for authority. Earl LeBrun is an electronics genius with a talent for creating astounding, yet stealthy new weapons. This unlikely duo is on a worldwide crusade against a powerful and wealthy criminal cartel whose tentacles reach into the highest and lowest reaches of society.

The Three-Way is also Bury's second  book in the Sydney Rye Kindle World, following last year's The Wife Line. It's available exclusively on Amazon.
